FAQ’s

Booking & Policies

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice result in forfeiture of 50% of the service price (deposit). This applies regardless of reason, as the reserved time cannot be rebooked on short notice.
Appointments begin and end at the scheduled time and cannot be extended to accommodate late arrivals. Your session may be shortened to stay on schedule. A deposit is required to secure appointments and may be required again after a late cancellation or no-show.

Choosing the Right Session

A 60-minute session works well for maintenance or one main focus area. A 90-minute session allows time for more thorough work, multiple areas, or deeper focus without feeling rushed.

Your Session

Wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Most clients undress to their comfort level and are properly draped throughout the session. Pressure is adjusted based on your comfort, and you’re welcome to speak up at any time.
Conversation is optional—quiet is perfectly fine. Effective work doesn’t require pushing through pain, and pressure is always adjusted to your comfort level.

Techniques & Enhancements

Sessions may include Swedish techniques, deep tissue techniques, trigger point work, stretching, and other supportive methods depending on your needs.
Heat may be incorporated using warm towels or heated rice packs, with hot stones used selectively when appropriate. Cupping and gua sha are offered when they support your goals and may leave temporary marks. All enhancements are used selectively—not every session includes every technique.

Results & Aftercare

Mild soreness is possible after focused or deeper work and usually fades within a day or two. Results vary based on stress, activity, and how long the issue has been present. Consistent care tends to produce the most lasting change.

Other Massage Policies

Before each session, we’ll review your goals, preferences, and any relevant health information to ensure your massage is safe and effective. You are encouraged to communicate openly during your session regarding pressure, comfort, temperature, or technique. If you have not been seen for one year or longer, updated intake information and renewed consent may be required before treatment.

Massage therapy is a non-medical, therapeutic service intended to support relaxation, recovery, and general wellness. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or perform medical treatments. If a condition appears outside the scope of massage therapy, you may be referred to a qualified healthcare provider.
All services provided are strictly professional and non-sexual in nature. Sexual behavior, requests, or conversation are not tolerated. Breast and genital areas are never massaged. Any violation of professional boundaries will result in the immediate termination of the session, and the full session fee will still apply.

Proper draping is maintained at all times to ensure your privacy and comfort. Only the area being actively worked on will be uncovered. You are always encouraged to request adjustments to pressure, positioning, temperature, or focus areas to ensure a comfortable and respectful experience.
